Yesterday, CMS issued a memo, which is analyzed here: CMS’s Phased Reopening Guidance for Nursing Homes. The guidance for reopening nursing homes follows the phases of the White House’s Opening Up America Again and includes a recommendation that nursing homes plan for a baseline test of every resident and staff member with additional testing thereafter.
