Daily Coronavirus Live Online Updates Are Back!

We are sharing the very latest information with members twice daily. Morning updates go out via email, and we’re hosting daily live online updates each afternoon.

Starting today, we’re bringing back daily live online updates at 3:30 p.m. ET. Yesterday, we tried to deliver recorded-only updates—to avoid technical problems we experienced with last week’s events. But many of you missed the live update, so we’re switching back starting this afternoon. PLEASE REGISTER TODAY.

Coronavirus Daily Member Update: LIVE ONLINE
March 24 – April 26 (7 days/week)
3:30 p.m. ET daily
Register for the entire series today

Everyone must register again for this new series of live online updates. When you register, you will be automatically signed up for every update through April 26. After you register, you will receive an email confirmation with your unique weblink, which you can use every day. There will be no telephone option.

Thank you for your patience as we work to find the best way to deliver these daily updates. Due to overwhelming response—and in light of the added strain on virtual meeting platforms—members may still have connection problems with live call-ins. Recordings will be available, should you experience access problems.

Following are the latest coronavirus news and resources.

Yesterday, CMS announced further suspension and re-prioritization of survey activity in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Memo QSO-20-20-ALL highlights this re-prioritization, as well as new guidance for non-nursing home settings on visitors and screening, and access to all settings for health care providers. LeadingAge analysis on survey re-prioritization is available now, and additional guidance is forthcoming. You can read Wall Street Journal coverage of this important change, featuring Deb Murphy from LeadingAge Washington.

At 4 p.m. ET today, CMS will host a call for PACE organizations and state officials on issues related to COVID-19. They plan to review guidance from CMS and CDC, discuss recent developments, and welcome questions.
