  1. April 30: Nominate a DON or ADON for the 2017 McHugh Leadership Award

    This year’s McHugh Award will recognize a director of nursing (DON) or assistant director of nursing (ADON) who creates a supportive and engaged workplace environment by displaying excellent leadership skills while managing nursing and frontline staff.

  2. Sodexo-Supported Research Explores the LTSS Migrant/Immigrant Workforce

    A new research study will explore the role that migrant/immigrant workers can play in delivering long-term services and supports (LTSS) to the world’s growing older population.

  3. Regulatory Review of Adult Day Services Shows Major Changes Since 2005

    The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Disability, Aging and Long-Term Care Policy (DALTCP), under contract with the Research Triangle Institute, released the Regulatory Review of Adult Day Services: Final Report, which demonstrated the major changes in adult day regulations over the past 10 years.

  4. What Providers with VA Contracts Need to Know about the Paid Sick Leave Executive Order

    On Sept. 7, 2015, President Obama issued Executive Order 13706 (EO 13706), which requires that all government contractors and their subcontractors provide their employees working on the contract paid sick leave. While Medicare and Medicaid-certified providers do not constitute government contractors, providers with VA contracts are covered by EO 13706 through the Contract Services Act of 1965.
