Robyn Stone, senior vice president of research at LeadingAge and LTSS Center co-director, will speak at a workshop on Integrating Health Care and Social Services for People with Serious Illness on July 19 in Washington, DC. Stone’s topic is: “Framing the Issues of Integrating Health Care and Social Services for People with Serious Illness: Gaps, Challenges, and Opportunities.”

This free, public workshop is hosted by the Roundtable on Quality Care for People with Serious Illness at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. It will explore the range of health-related social needs such as food, housing, transportation, and caregiver support and their impact on health outcomes of people with serious illness.

The workshop will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Keck Center, 500 5th St., NW, Washington, DC. It will also be live webcast.
