LeadingAge staff are hosting a Rural Provider Networking and Listening Meeting on Wednesday, October 31 from 7 – 8:30 a.m. at Annual Meeting.

Two years ago, LeadingAge national staff partnered with state executives from affected states and convened the first Rural Summit around issues that have a unique impact on rural providers. This past summer, we held our first listening session with rural members in Minnesota to hear how workforce, regulatory reform and payment reform were impacting their organizations. Member feedback was very positive about the event. LeadingAge staff already has incorporated this input from rural members into our education sessions and webinars, our Rules of Participation tools, our advocacy efforts on recent requests for regulatory and statutory relief where we also included specific anecdotes that had been shared during the meeting.

Now, we want to hear from our rural provider members from around the country and are hosting a Rural Provider Networking and Listening Meeting on Wednesday, October 31 from 7 – 8:30 a.m. Please join us for some coffee and a light breakfast while sharing your perspective on these issues and others – and help us work toward solutions!
