Our call-in campaign is now closed. We hope you will consider sending a message about protecting the CLASS Act from repeal via Contact Congress. We ask that you tell your senators to reject any attempt to repeal the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports (CLASS) Act program. We believe the CLASS Act must remain on the books because it is the only existing answer for how we can transform our system to help people plan and pay for their inevitable needs for long-term services and supports. We were very disappointed when Kathleen Sibelius, secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, announced that she didn't see “a viable path forward” for implementing the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports (CLASS) Act program. We could not disagree more. We believe the legislation provides maximum flexibility for HHS to devise a solution that would be available to all and financially sustainable.
Thanks for your support!
