Eldermark Welcomes New Executive

CAST Business Associate Eldermark has added Brad Fuqua as senior vice president of market development, reports Senior Housing News.

Eldermark is a leading electronic health record and healthcare technology solution for the senior care industry. Based in Minnetonka, MN, Eldermark partners with senior communities to develop a comprehensive, mobile-friendly healthcare software platform that saves time and money while raising the quality of care.

Fuqua previously served as the vice president of SeniorHousingNet, part of the realtor.com network, and was responsible for the account acquisition and support of the country’s largest senior housing operators.

Great Place to Work Institute Encourages Operators to Certify

Jacquelyn Kung, CEO of Activated Insights, a Great Place to Work technology company focused on senior care, has authored an article in Seniors Housing Business that helps operators gain workplace certification. "The Investment Return of Great Culture" discusses how to employ data-driven improvements to reap the benefits of the certification, including lower turnover, and happier employees.

The Great Place to Work Institute is a CAST Business Associate that has initiated a focus on senior care. Its newest award is called the Best Workplaces in Aging Services. Operators can apply, get benchmarked to their level of care and, if certified as a Great Place to Work, have a chance of being recognized in Fortune. The inaugural list is to be published this September.

HCS to Serve Landmark Hospitals

Landmark Hospitals has selected HCS Interactant®, from CAST Business Associate HCS, as its centralized revenue cycle management and financial platform, HIMSS.org reported.

Landmark is switching to Interactant from an existing legacy system to have a clearer financial picture of its business operations in real-time, from pre-admission to final remittance. Landmark will leverage Interactant, which is specifically designed for multi-site hospitals, for seven long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs) and two inpatient rehabilitation facilities that span four states.

HCS is a leading provider of enterprise-wide and easy-to-use, clinical and financial technology solutions to LTACH, behavioral health, and senior living facilities. HCS has seen strong demand for its platform in the LTACH industry, mainly due to specific functionality, built-in automated processes, and reporting capabilities.

HCS will be exhibiting and available on hand at the LTPAC Health IT Summit, June 24-26, in Washington, DC. Register today to attend and meet them there!
