On June 1, 2011, United Church Homes installed the Rev. Kenneth V. Daniel as its president and CEO. Daniel has more than 22 years of progressive management and executive leadership experience mainly with Phoebe Ministries, a large not-for-profit, faith-based organization operating retirement communities in Pennsylvania.
Rev. Daniel has also worked for several LeadingAge members including:
“I see myself as managing a network of interconnecting relationships: residents, families, donors, staff, volunteers,” Daniel said of his new role. “I want to make sure we’re communicating effectively, listening to their concerns and trying to operate the organization in a way everybody can be proud of.”
What is Rev. Daniel's Background?
Rev. Daniel earned his Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, MN. He also earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from Moravian Theological Seminary. More recently he earned a Master of Public Administration degree in long-term health care administration from Marywood University in Scranton, PA.
Daniels is a Fellow of and is certified in nursing home administration by the American College of Healthcare Administrators. He has also served on the boards of Pennsylvania Southeast Conference, the Council for Health and Human Service Ministries, the Wider Church Ministries.
