Survey Findings Reveal CCRC Social Accountability Practices

The results from the 2010 Social Accountability Study Report shows that many continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) are social accountability champions.

Here are the reasons why:

  • Social accountability is part of their culture.
  • Their boards are engaged.
  • They communicate their accomplishments to their stakeholders.
  • They partner with other organizations to fulfill unmet needs in the community.

Non-profits changes lives. And, social accountability is a way to tell your organization’s story of how it changes the lives of your residents as well as your impact on the community. Aging services organizations can use this report as a benchmark for social accountability.

LeadingAge partnered with Holleran, a LeadingAge Premier Sponsor, and Lyon Software to conduct the survey.

Holleran is presenting a series of webinars for LeadingAge members on social accountability. The first webinar covered the results of the survey and featured Larry Minnix, President/CEO of LeadingAge and Lisa Lehman, President of Holleran. See the PowerPoint and the webinar recording
