Nursing Homes: 2012-2013 Salary and Benefits Survey Now Available

Published On: Apr 25, 2012Updated On: Aug 25, 2012 The 2012-2013 Nursing Home Salary and Benefits Report, published by Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS), has just been released. The report had 2,467 participating nursing homes, and is published in cooperation with LeadingAge.
The report shows that salary averages for:
- Directors of nursing increased 1.2% (to $82,186).
- Marketing directors increased 1.7% (to $51,000).
- Administrators increased 1.9% (to $94,6785).
LeadingAge member participants may purchase the report at a reduced rate of $225.
The report provides data according to:
- For‑profit and not-for-profit status.
- Revenue size.
- Bed size.
- Geographic region (county and state).
- Fringe benefits.
- Shift differentials.
- Turnover rates by department.
- Projected salary increases for 2012 – 2013.

HCS also conducts and publishes a separate CCRC Home Salary and Benefits Report. The 2012-2013 CCRC Salary and Benefits Report will be published in June 2012. The annual Assisted Living Salary and Benefits Report was released earlier this year.
