Adapting a Palliative Care Training Program for Residents with Advanced Dementia

The LeadingAge Center for Applied Research, in partnership with the New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and Beatitudes Campus, will be adapting a palliative care training program for residents with advanced dementia developed by Beatitudes Campus. 

The project team will work with three nursing homes to implement the training program and practice changes and the necessary organizational adjustments to support these changes.

LeadingAge will be conducting an evaluation to determine the cost effectiveness of the training program.
