Oakwood Village Hebron Oaks Administrator Megan Engfer has received the 2012 Facility Leadership Award from the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA).

The prestigious award is based on improvement in quality measures and 3 years of skilled nursing facility survey data. Hebron Oaks is the skilled nursing program on the Madison, WI, Oakwood Village University Woods campus, specializing in short-term rehabilitative care.

"The high quality of care our residents receive is a direct reflection of our excellent staff. Megan is a shining example of that," said Joe Xanthopoulos, president and CEO, Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries.

"The award is really to the great team we have here," Engfer said. "They're truly committed to providing care that meets the needs of each resident."

Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization serving generations of aging adults, encouraging individuality, worth and well-being throughout life.

Founded in 1948 by an association of Lutheran churches, Oakwood owns and manages 2 continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) in the greater Madison, Wisconsin area - Oakwood Village University Woods and Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge.
