Dr. Keith Knapp Elected Chair-Elect of The National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards

Dr. Keith R. Knapp, president and CEO of Christian Care Communities, has been named chair-elect of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB). 

Dr. Knapp will serve for 2 years prior to ascending to chair. 

Knapp is only 1 of 2 individuals representing Kentucky to serve in that capacity. 

Knapp currently serves as LeadingAge Kentucky’s representative on the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Long Term Care Administrators. 

About Dr. Knapp

Dr. Knapp holds a doctorate in gerontology from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in hospital and health administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. 

In addition, he is a Certified Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators and an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. 

Actively involved in community and professional organizations, Dr. Knapp is a member of the Kentucky Association for Gerontology, American Society on Aging, Council on Older Minority Adults, Kentucky Citizens for Quality Long-Term Care and the Southern Gerontological Society.
