How Health Care Reform is Helping Seniors
Published On: Mar 20, 2012 Healthcare.gov posted this video that tells the story of Helen, a senior citizen on Medicare who benefits from the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) by having access to quality preventive services.
In fact, according to a March 2012 report from the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee, the PPACA has saved 3.6 million seniors more than $2.1 billion on Medicare prescription drug costs.
What's really cool about the report is that you can look up your specific district and see the specific impact of the PPACA on your friends and neighbors.
