The State Investment in Culture Change Toolkit aims to help states initiate or expand culture change efforts in nursing homes. The toolkit is a collection of the financial and human resource investments of 7 states to promote and support culture change initiatives in nursing homes:
The states developed programs and activities that can guide other states interested in making similar investments. The materials were collected from a case study supported by The Commonwealth Fund. Other states can build on the models described in the toolkit to promote culture change in their own nursing homes. The toolkit highlights features that contribute to the successful implementation of culture change activities across states, such as:
