On Feb. 3, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced that in addition to the November 2011 award of $545 million in Section 202 grants, the agency will be awarding an additional $31 million to 5 grantees.
Providers in California, Indiana, Michigan, New York and Ohio each received a grant of varying sizes with a 3-year rental subsidy attached.
