Art & Aging: Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads to Present Resident's Art Exhibit

John Bryans, a resident of Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads (GHBC) in Falls Church, VA, will present A Life in Art: A Retrospective of Works by John Bryans from April 15 to June 9, 2012, at the community’s Crossroads Gallery.

Mr. Bryans has taught art in Arlington and McLean, VA for nearly 50 years and has more than 40 one-man shows and numerous group shows. His works are included in museums, private collections and embassies in the United States and abroad.

Primarily a watercolorist, Mr. Bryan’s retrospective includes still life, landscapes, portraits, fantasies and collage.

An opening reception and talk will be held on Sunday, April 15th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Crossroads Gallery. The Gallery, not only for GHBC residents but also for original artwork from D.C.-area artists, is free and open to the public.
