The Administration on Community
Living which includes The Administration on Aging (AoA) announced on June 5 that it is funding a grant project to assist the aging network in understanding how it is doing in key programmatic areas related to systems change.
The successful applicant for this funding opportunity will seek to put a process in place that improves the aging networks understanding of the aging network activities, including:
- Innovations and best practices.
- The Older Americans Act (OAA).
- Area Agencies on Aging (AAA).
- American Indian, Alaskan Native and Native Hawaiian (Tribal Organizations) Networks.
This grant project will assist in understanding the capacity of these networks to meet the current and future needs of a growing older population and their family caregivers and will serve as a foundation for future training and technical assistance designed to further advance the capacity of the aging network.
